We’ve lived here for over six years which probably goes a long way to tell you how we feel about it! The location is as good as it gets in LA, and the amenities are top notch. The gym has everything you’d need, the pool is a wonderful escape, and our home is a safe, comfortable living experience.
I cannot say enough about the warmth and kindness of the team from security to management, the helpfulness of the concierge team, and the consistency and friendliness of the maintenance and housekeeping staff.
Unfortunately there are far too many things that either continue to break or new rules added that make what should be a luxury apartment building feeling like a boarding school.
Supposed gated community gates broken often left open for repair. Exterior and to parking garage.
The obnoxious fire alarm has gone off 5 times in a year.
They are now charging for guest parking that was free when I moved in.
Not even a one time accommodation for paying rent one day late.
Too many barking dogs and not just a normal hello…. Sometimes, one in particular will go on and on for 30/40 min.
Spa needs repair
Pool needs cleaning more often.I myself on numerous occasions have used the net to scoop hair and debris out of the pool.
Please notice how the property always responds to, not just my review but all negative reviews with some jargon on how they have systems in place or someone for this or that… the noise complaints in my experience never get addressed or responded to. The pool is not cleaned 3 times a week.
Etc etc they just make excuses.

I lived here for 2 years. It was okay. Seriously overpriced. My neighbors would complain if I didn’t softly close the door.(I lived alone and work 50 hours a week and I’m barely home. You can imagine the type of Karen that complains about this. But there’s so many in this complex. They think they are better than you.) in addition to that, they don’t let you keep anything in the balcony. You basically have to keep it completely free of anything. I put a plant outside and got a complaint. The size is also tiny for what you pay. If you move literally 1 mile in any direction including toward Beverly Hills, the rent drops by at least 1k and you keep all the same amenities, you get bigger space, and you just lose the attitude that everyone thinks they are better than you. There’s a gym there that’s decent. The yearly rate hikes are also not realistic. Long story short- if you are new to LA, this place might be good for a short rental like 1-3 months. If you’re gonna be living here longer than that I would go to a different apartment.
We love our home in Palazzo East Apartments! The grounds are safe and beautiful...very well maintained! It's a quiet oasis in a bustling neighborhood with lots to do and see. Maintenance is super efficient...I put in a request to fix the sink Wednesday, and it was fixed within an hour...incredible.
In general, we are satisfied with the services we received, but the gym is really below average when we compare it with Palazzo West even though we have higher rental rates than there. Some equipment is constantly lost and some new equipment needs to be added in the gym. At the same time, most stuff needs to be taken into complete maintenance for the health of the users. Finally, paying such high amounts of rate and still not being able to use the elevator in the building 5 is very strange which has been out of order for so long time. Because as someone who has to go grocery shopping almost every day, it is quite tiring to walk to the other side and carry everything. We hope that the necessary actions will be taken into consideration as soon as possible.
Really good. Repairs are same day. Grounds are well kept. Fitness room is nice. Mailbox thing is a shakedown though - it’s really weird that an otherwise really well-run place would charge $75 just to receive packages and the $10 a day per package late fee is insanity. My last place it was the same service but free. I won’t do it and get my packages delivered to the Amazon locker at whole foods down the street for no fee but they won’t deliver everything there and Fedex gets returned to sender, it’s a minor annoyance though - great place to live!
This is my absolute favorite place I've ever lived with amazing neighbors and community and insanely fast, efficient repairs when things in my apt don't work. The maintenance staff are all very nice, friendly and love my dog.
I am being entered to win a $1,000 gift card for writing a review.
